What is the typical mark on a tombstone in the cemetery?
What is the degree of normality in the sale of a series of grave data questions: I am involved in a transaction involving the purchase of five tombs of the family to be put into a graveyard. The monument dealer gives us an appointment and then after some negotiations, has been reduced by 20%. Now when we go to such issues as installation, foundations and others, the seller is saying that he not have much money in the transaction and therefore can not, at least, that determines the direction. I want the deal to happen, but not dry at all. I think the margins were very important and a reduction of 20%, while generous, the seller would have a good profit. Therefore, I would like to hear what others are experiencing the mark on the stones, sometimes called or memorials. Thanks d 'in advance for your help.
Having worked in industry for 13 years, I would say that is just for you. There may be more of a profit margin of 50%. Much depends on whether the seller is their own work, or sublet the sanding, etc. Out. As for installation costs (foundations and others), many of which are controlled by the cemetery and monument dealers have no say in the costs involved. Often, they charge per square centimeter or square meter of the foundation / installation and there is scope for moving the monument dealer in their prices. They simply pass along the cost to the buyer. Variable is actually a cemetery, and I want to do your homework and see if they are paid what he is quoted, or whether the seller is marking some. Only for reflection.
