What types of flowers are good for planting in the summer?
Recently I was at home when I'm bored at work and I do something to keep me busy, so I was thinking of planting flowers. What types of flowers are good for sowing the summer (given the hot climate and others). I live in the Dallas / Ft Worth East Texas, if that helps. They will be in the shade of a tree, but at some point during the day could get direct sunlight. I want colorful flowers, but I'm sure it will work … Thank you!
Impatiens are good, they like the shade but can tolerate some sun too. Are Available in various colors. Lantana likes hot and dry weather will return next year, but needs some more sun.
